Additionally, 35% of viewers were new to the series, not having watched previous seasons, and nearly half of viewers watched the series with at least one other person. And \u201cAftersun,\u201d Peacock\u2019s \u201cLove Island\u201d aftershow hosted by Ciara Miller and\u00a0Tefi\u00a0Pessoa saw a 135% increase compared to last season.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBy Nielsen\u2019s measure, \u201cLove Island USA\u201d Season 8 is the most-watched streaming series of summer  2026 in addition to being the No. 1 streaming reality title for six consecutive weeks. These superlatives were calculated based on data measured between May 25 and July 12; Nielsen operates on a multi-week delay for streaming titles.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tUnsurprisingly, the season has been a phenomenon on social media. Both the show\u2019s app and the Peacock app reached No. 1 on the App Store during the run of Season 8.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNews of \u201cLove Island\u201d Season 8\u2019s ratings success comes ahead of the reunion special on Aug. 31, which will be hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen on Peacock.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cLove Island USA\u201d is produced by ITV America in association with Lifted Entertainment and WPP Media Company\u2019s Motion Entertainment.
