\nMorgan Freeman recently told The New York Times that he\u2019s okay signing on for a movie with a mediocre script as long as the pay is good enough. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf somebody offers you a job, it\u2019s very nice if they\u2019re offering you also an exciting script, but in reality, two or three things come into play,\u201d Freeman explained. \u201cWhat are they going to pay you? If they\u2019re going to pay you enough, then you overlook some of the glitches in the script that happen to be there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSometimes you can mention things that are in the script that don\u2019t quite work out for you and by and large, that gets worked out,\u201d the Oscar winner added on a more hopeful note.<\/p>\n

\n\tFreeman is a five-time Oscar nominee and won the supporting actor trophy for \u201cMillion Dollar Baby.\u201d His most recent film role was last year\u2019s \u201cNow You See Me: Now You Don\u2019t.\u201d He played Thaddeus Bradley in all three movies in the magician franchise, giving Freeman one of his most popular series after his work as Lucius Fox in Christopher Nolan\u2019s Dark Knight trilogy.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m like Clint Eastwood on that: Don\u2019t let the old man in,\u201d Freeman told The Times about continuing to act as he nears 90 years old. \u201cSo, keep working. If you can get out of bed and don\u2019t fall down when you do it, then you just count your blessings and keep moving. So, I\u2019ll work as long as I can \u2014 as long as somebody says, \u2018Do you want to do this part?\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFreeman told The Guardian he has no plans to retire from his profession, explaining: \u201cSometimes the idea of retirement would float past me but, as soon as my agent says there\u2019s a job or somebody wants you or they\u2019ve made an offer, the whole thing just boils back into where it was yesterday: how much you\u2019re going to pay, where we\u2019re gonna be?\u201d<\/p>\n
