The series is coming to Disney+ as a three-part miniseries in February 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe cast includes Amy Sedaris, Kathryn Hahn, Steve Martin, Al Madrigal, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Mykal-Michelle Harris and Ryder Allen. <\/p>\n<p>\n\tOswald was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in 1927 for Universal Pictures. The character proved to be a major milestone for Disney, as he and Iwerks created Mickey Mouse after Universal took control of Oswald in 1928. The Walt Disney Company reacquired the rights to the character in 2006, though it entered the public domain in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=5917\">\u2018Top Chef\u2019 Host Kristen Kish on How Her Fellow Judges and People Around Her \u2018Helped Me Get to a Place Where I Felt Like My Best Self\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tCabot-Conyers previously starred in Disney\u2019s \u201cStar Wars\u201d series \u201cSkeleton Crew,\u201d which was executive produced by Favreau, and voiced one of the Madrigal family members in \u201cEncanto.\u201d Harris voiced Blaze in this summer\u2019s \u201cToy Story 5\u201d and previously starred in \u201cMixed-ish.\u201d Sedaris and Favreau have collaborated already on \u201cThe Mandalorian\u201d and \u201cThe Book of Boba Fett.\u201d Meanwhile, Hahn is playing Mother Gothel in the live-action \u201cTangled\u201d remake.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCreated just one year before Mickey Mouse, Oswald has attained cult status in Disney history. He\u2019s largely vanished from pop culture and any of Disney\u2019s titles, but he reappeared in the 2010 video game \u201cEpic Mickey\u201d \u2014 in which he and the famous mouse shared the screen for the first time.
