He was 76.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=5956\">Box Office: \u2018The End of Oak Street\u2019 Chomps on $8.1 Million, But \u2018Spider-Man: Brand New Day\u2019 Is Still No. 1 With $19 Million<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tJim Rotolo, who hosts the Springsteen-fan cast \u201cThe Wild &amp; The Innocent\u201d on SiriusXM, confirmed Marsh\u2019s death in a Facebook post on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cDave wrote several books about Bruce as part of a remarkable body of work spanning some 25 titles,\u201d Rotolo wrote, along with a picture of himself, Springsteen and Marsh. \u201cA longtime rock critic for Creem and Rolling Stone, he was also one of the creators of \u2018E Street Radio\u2019 and hosted \u2018Kick Out the Jams\u2019 on SiriusXM for 19 years. You will be missed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cBorn to Run: The Bruce Springsteen Story\u201d was one of the first extensive biographies written about The Boss, who was still rising through his young career when it was published in 1979. \u201cBorn to Run\u201d followed Springsteen\u2019s journey from local New Jersey rocker to budding global phenomenon and shared a name with Springsteen\u2019s 1975 breakout album. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/relocationobserver.com\/?p=5954\">Locarno: Marco Cavazzin\u2019s \u2018Mutrion,\u2019 Set in the Venice Lagoon, Scoops Leopards of Tomorrow Director Award<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\tMarsh, who penned several works about Springsteen, also published texts on The Who, Sly &amp; the Family Stone, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Black Sabbath. He was also one of the earliest editors of Creem magazine and was a frequent contributor to Rolling Stone.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn 2004, Marsh launched the \u201cKick Out the James\u201d radio show, which he hosted for almost two decades. He also co-created \u201cE Street Radio\u201d for the broadcaster.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMarsh\u2019s daughter, Kristen Ann Carr, died in 1993 at 21 years old from sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that affects bones and muscle tissue.
