Their hopes for a new beginning quickly collide with a far more difficult reality than Lucila imagined, forcing her to navigate the emotional weight of displacement, fractured family bonds and the struggle to build a life in an unfamiliar country. It stars Anna D\u00edaz (\u201cLa Cocina\u201d) and Adriana Paz (\u201cEmilia P\u00e9rez\u201d), alongside an ensemble cast including Luisa Huertas, Guillermo R\u00edos, Sergio Bautista, Benny Emmanuel, Teresa Lozano and Adriana Jacom\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe \u201cAshes\u201d screenplay was written by Luna, Abia Castillo and Diego Rabasa, with Luna returning to the director\u2019s chair for his atest exploration of family, identity and belonging. The film was produced by Inna Payan, Val\u00e9rie Delpierre, Luis Salinas, Diego Rabasa and Diego Luna.
