When the largest solar storm in recorded history knocks out power, communications and order across the city, blackouts spiral into looting and riots. As the line between predator and prey burns away, the two go on the run through 24 hours of darkness \u2014 hunted by forces that may prove more dangerous than the storm overhead.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\u201cJoe is a man who\u2019s done everything to leave his past behind, only to have the world itself collapse around him,\u201d Hudson said. \u201cThe solar storm doesn\u2019t just take the lights out \u2014 it strips people down to who they really are. David knows how to make that kind of tension relentless and cinematic. That\u2019s the movie I wanted to make.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe cast also includes Massi Furlan (\u201cJumanji: The Next Level\u201d), Valerie Huber (\u201cWhiskey Cavalier\u201d) and Werner Daehn (\u201cThe Lives of Others\u201d) with additional casting underway on the remaining major roles.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tProducers include Hudson, Joe Rabl of Pelican Pictures and Walter Mair (\u201cLiaison\u201d) of Trigger Films, with Reinhard Besser (\u201cThe Ledge\u201d) executive producing. Trigger Films is anchoring the financing, providing the U.K. tax credit and GAP financing. No power. No rules. Two people who need each other to survive. The storm outside is nothing compared to what\u2019s happening inside these characters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPrincipal photography is set to begin winter 2026 in Bulgaria on a budget of approximately \u20ac15 million.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tHudson is represented by Framework Entertainment.
