\n\tPrime Video\u2019s \u201cSpider-Noir\u201dsoundtrack will feature new music by composers Kris Bowers and Michael Dean Parsons. In addition to the score, actress Li Jun Li delivers a cover of \u201cDream a Little Dream of Me\u201d and the original track, \u201cThe Devil You Know.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe live-action series, which premieres on May 27, is based on the Marvel comics and stars\u00a0Nicolas Cage\u00a0as the shadowy Spider-Man variant. It follows an older web-slinger who is living in New York City during The Great Depression. Li plays nightclub singer Cat Hardy.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe soundtrack will also be digitally released on May 27. A 2-LP vinyl set will be released on Aug. 28 by Milan Records.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe album will also feature the series\u2019 main title theme \u201cSaving Grace,\u201d performed by southern soul singer and songwriter Kirby and is produced by Oak Felder. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement to Variety, <\/em>Bower said, \u201cShowrunner and executive producer Oren Uziel and the team trusted us to shape this world through its music, and we shared an enthusiasm for using clear, memorable melodies to carry character and story. For Michael and me, \u2018Spider-Noir\u2019 was a rare chance to put everything we love about scoring to picture into a single show.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDean Parsons added, \u201c\u2018Spider-Noir\u2019 is the kind of musical opportunity a composer dreams about. It gave us the chance to not only write music that is emotional and thematic, but also to freely blend genres and sounds that wouldn\u2019t normally coexist. The more we leaned into these juxtapositions \u2013 combining noir and superhero sensibilities, then layering in experimental synthesizers, electric guitars, and other modern textures \u2013 the more natural it all felt within this unique world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBowers and Dean Parsons have co-composed music that draws from classic noir and the superhero canon to ground the score in melodic themes built to character and story. The score\u2019s palette is grounded in orchestra with experimental electronics, theremin, electric guitar, percussion made from NYC street sounds, a broken piano, and a penny whistle.<\/p>\n
