\n\tWhat a week for New Yorkers.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Monday night, the New York Knicks trounced the Cleveland Cavaliers to reach the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years. And Tuesday, the first part of the \u201cSummer House\u201d Season 10 reunion saw Lindsay Hubbard call Westling Wilson a \u201ctoddler.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the immortal words of Stefon, \u201cThis place has everything<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFor those of you who haven\u2019t been keeping track of all the \u201cSummer House\u201d drama \u2014 which I break down in rigorous detail here \u2014 on March 31, two of the Hamptons-set series\u2019 cast members, Westling Wilson and Amanda Batula, publicly announced that they were in a situationship on Instagram. This confirmation followed weeks of speculative gossip about them on sites like Deuxmoi, including alleged footage of them caught in a compromising position. This news is noteworthy to the Bravoverse because Amanda and her husband of four years, Kyle Cooke, had announced their separation in January; Amanda\u2019s close friend, Ciara Miller, had previously dated West and still has feelings for him; Ciara had spent the entire 10th season of the show serving as a shoulder to cry on for Amanda while her marriage fell apart; and West actively pursued Ciara all summer, kissing her during the season finale. Furthermore, a series of audio leaks from the \u201cSummer House\u201d reunion appeared to show West and Amanda acting defiant and unapologetic in the face of criticism.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cSummer House\u201d Season 10 reunion episodes \u2014\u00a0the first of three parts \u2014\u00a0kicked off Tuesday night on Bravo (and will stream uncensored starting Wednesday on Peacock). It opens on March 31, as Lindsay is seated on a couch taping confessional interviews for the \u201cSummer House\u201d spinoff \u201cIn the City.\u201d Kyle enters, and tells her to check her phone, flagging the aforementioned situationship post. A conference call ensues between the two, Jesse Solomon, Mia Calabrese and Carl Radke, who is a mess.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAmanda tried to play it off last night like it\u2019s only been happening for a month,\u201d Kyle shares of his estranged wife and West. \u201cBullshit. At minimum, the second week of January they were together,\u201d offers Mia. \u201cAnd I will say,\u201d adds Kyle, \u201cthere were blinds going back to June 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe orchestral score races and swells in the background as if we\u2019re in a psychological thriller \u2014 you really do have it to give it to Bravo \u2014 as the action jumps forward to April 23, the day of the reunion taping.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve been on this for 10 years, from the beginning,\u201d says Carl, who is still a mess. \u201cWhat\u2019s been going on the last month and a half, two months, is unlike anything we\u2019ve ever experienced.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKJ Dillard points out that West and Amanda making a public spectacle of themselves at a Yankees game rather coincidentally<\/em> happened the same day that Ciara\u2019s Glamour magazine cover issue dropped, and that KJ was initially supposed to go to the game with West because they were playing the Kansas City Royals (KJ and West\u2019s hometown club), but he didn\u2019t go because \u201cwe\u2019re not friends anymore\u201d and \u201cthat hurts\u2026 I considered him like a brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWe are treated to a heartfelt exchange between reunion host Andy Cohen and Ciara in her dressing room. \u201cWho do you feel more betrayed by?\u201d he asks her. \u201cAmanda,\u201d Ciara responds. \u201cI mean, I\u2019m shocked by West, but I\u2019m also really hurt by Amanda.\u201d Then, there\u2019s a hard (soft?) transition to the boys in their dressing room joking about West\u2019s dick pic that\u2019s unfortunately started making the rounds. \u201cIt\u2019s not a good dick pic!\u201d exclaims Kyle. \u201cWho does it flaccid?\u201d chimes in Jesse. And lastly, Andy pays a visit to Amanda and West, who are sharing a dressing room. When he asks them how they think the reunion\u2019s gonna go, Amanda takes the floor: \u201cThe truth is already out there. It\u2019s just going to be shutting down the rumors.\u201d As for seeing Ciara, Amanda maintains, \u201cI mean, there\u2019s a lot of guilt. That\u2019s my friend, and it kills me that I\u2019m the one that caused her any pain.\u201d It is an unpersuasive mea culpa, to say the least. And the first of many<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe women of \u201cSummer House\u201d strut onto the set looking fabulous<\/em>; the men, considerably less so. In a blink-and you\u2019ll-miss-it moment, as Ciara marches out in her tight corset, West can be seen pursing his lips while eyeing her because he cannot help himself, as has been made abundantly clear. The fireworks start almost immediately.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m prepared to own up to what I\u2019ve done, take accountability, apologize \u2014 especially to Ciara and Kyle \u2014 and just hopefully be able to explain to everyone\u2019s face what went on, and where I\u2019m coming from,\u201d Amanda says.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m glad you could say our name this time,\u201d Ciara shoots back, a nod to how she and Kyle were conspicuously left out of Amanda and West\u2019s relationship announcement.<\/p>\n

\n\tCiara first suspected that something was up between Amanda and West on Jan. 17, when she invited Amanda out to drinks with her and Mia, but she wasn\u2019t answering her phone. So, she checked Amanda\u2019s location and discovered that she was at West\u2019s apartment.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWest was there for me all summer and was checking in\u2026\u201d Amanda mumbles.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd where was I?\u201d Ciara presses. \u201cAnd how many times have I asked you to hang out and you have either blown me off\u2026\u201d \u2014 at which point Amanda tries to talk over her, and Ciara tells her to \u201cshut the fuck up,\u201d continuing, \u201cHow many times have I asked you to hang out, have I asked to come over to your house, have I invited you to do stuff, and you act like your phone doesn\u2019t work?!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe focus turns to West, who\u2019s remained mum up to that point, and the level to which he\u2019d deceived his friends about his budding situationship with Amanda.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI 100% lied to people here, and I take full accountability for that. Not cool to do in general, not cool to do to your friends, and no matter the case, lying to people you care about is not OK,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

Cue Ciara: \u201cThe problem is that I feel like you lie about your life. You lie about who you are. I think you\u2019re the most fraudulent person sitting on this couch. We\u2019ve been here three years now, and I don\u2019t think anybody really, truly knows who you are. You live a different fucking life off-camera than you do on-camera. We don\u2019t know what you\u2019re doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then, the kicker: \u201cProbably the reason it was so confusing is: You had a girlfriend! Meija [Moreno].\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tYes, West apparently had a girlfriend as he started seeing Amanda, and his denial prompts Lindsay to point out how Meija said the two were \u201cexclusive\u201d and that \u201cshe spent the night with you the night before you were on \u2018Watch What Happens Live!\u2019 on March 24,\u201d or a week before West and Amanda\u2019s notorious IG post.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCorrect,\u201d West admits. \u201cShe brought me that [horse-hair] tie.\u201d (Westling made a point to plug his probable-girlfriend\u2019s horse-hair tie on the show.)<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd Amanda, who\u2019s been staring into the abyss throughout this exchange, is snapped back to reality by Mia, who asks: \u201cYou went from being married to being one of West\u2019s side bitches? That\u2019s crazy<\/em>.\u201d I\u2019ve said it once and I\u2019ll say it again: Mia needs to be a permanent addition to the \u201cSummer House\u201d cast. Just delightful.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is here that I will simply list a series of quotes from Amanda:<\/p>\n

\n
