\nHoward Storm, the veteran television director known for helming episodes of \u201cTaxi,\u201d \u201cFull House\u201d and \u201cMork & Mindy,\u201d died on Tuesday in Beverly Hills. He was 94.<\/p>\n

\n\tStorm\u2019s death was due to natural causes, as confirmed to Variety <\/em>by his publicist. <\/p>\n

\n\tStorm found his love for directing in 1975, working closely alongside James L. Brooks and Garry Marshall. His work included directing six episodes of \u201cRhoda,\u201d 59 episodes of \u201cMork & Mindy,\u201d two episodes of \u201cTaxi,\u201d three episodes of \u201cThe Redd Foxx Show,\u201d two episodes of \u201cBetter Days,\u201d three episodes of \u201cFull House\u201d and three episodes of \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHis creative partnerships extended into a bond with Woody Allen during the \u201970s, working as an assistant on \u201cBananas\u201d and \u201cTake the Money and Run.\u201d Storm also crafted scripts for \u201cThe Partridge Family\u201d and Bob Newhart programs.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrior to directing TV, Storm began his career as a stand-up comedian; he traveled with Andy Williams as his opening act and even appeared on \u201cThe Merv Griffin Show\u201d over a dozen times. After directing a 1999 episode of \u201cKenan & Kel,\u201d he went on to act in 2010\u2019s \u201cValentine\u2019s Day\u201d and 2012\u2019s \u201cAn Old Man\u2019s Gold.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 1985, Storm made a small venture into film with his directorial debut \u201cOnce Bitten,\u201d which starred Jim Carrey, Lauren Hutton and Karen Kopins. Throughout his career, Storm collaborated with Robin Williams, Christopher Lloyd, Valerie Harper and Redd Foxx.<\/p>\n

\n\tStorm is survived by his two sons Anthony and Casey, daughter-in-law Julia, and grandsons Leo and Sidney.<\/p>\n
