\nUTA is hunting for cash in the great outdoors: The agency has signed Steven Rinella, an influential creator in the outdoor-lifestyle space, and his multiplatform media company, MeatEater, for representation.<\/p>\n

\n\tRinella\u2019s MeatEater, founded in 1999, has grown into a diversified company spanning premium video, podcasts, publishing, commerce and live experiences. UTA will represent Rinella and MeatEater across digital video and audio, including \u201cThe MeatEater Podcast,\u201d and the agency will seek new creative, commercial and growth opportunities in strategic brand partnerships, TV and live touring.<\/p>\n

\n\tUTA\u2019s signing of Rinella and MeatEater comes as the company continues to scale its content portfolio and reach, coinciding with production on the 14th season of its flagship series, \u201cMeatEater.\u201d Hosted by Rinella, the new season will premiere this fall with its widest distribution to date: MeatEater\u2019s 1.8 million-subscriber YouTube channel; on its branded FAST channel (on Samsung TV, Amazon, Roku, Dish\u2019s Sling TV and Vizio); ad-supported VOD services including Tubi and the Roku Channel; and linear television. In the coming months, MeatEater will also announce expanded FAST channel offerings and distribution, as well as a new live tour.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMeatEater has uniquely positioned itself as a leading media brand super serving conservation-minded Americans who hunt, fish, and lead their best lives in the outdoors,\u201d MeatEater CEO Jason Bergsman said in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019re pleased to partner with the team at UTA to provide our passionate fans with even more opportunities to engage with the MeatEater brand wherever they watch, listen, read, and gather.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn podcasting, the MeatEater Podcast Network programmed 17 series in 2025 across nine podcast feeds and produces an average of eight hours of video weekly for its dedicated YouTube podcast channel. \u201cThe MeatEater Podcast,\u201d which Rinella hosts twice a week, regularly ranks in the top 5 in sports podcasts and continually leads Apple\u2019s wilderness chart. \u201cBear Grease,\u201d hosted by MeatEater\u2019s Clay Newcomb, explores Southern outdoor culture and sits in the top 40 in sports podcasts. The company\u2019s newest podcast release is \u201cBlood Trails,\u201d its first in the true-crime genre. This summer, MeatEater will launch the newest season of \u201cMeatEater\u2019s American History Podcast\u201d series, featuring the chronicles of gunfighters in the American West, hosted by bestselling author Bryan Burrough, who is represented by the Wylie Agency working with CAA.<\/p>\n

\n\tRinella has written 10 books and released six audiobooks, including \u201cAmerican Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon,\u201d along with several bestselling cookbooks, and \u201cOutdoor Kids in an Inside World,\u201d a guide for parents to get their families out of the house and involved with nature.
