\n\tThe two are the latest additions to the cast of \u201cThe Roman,\u201d Netflix\u2019s Las Vegas-set drama series starring Oscar Isaac.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrune-Franklin (\u201cDune: Prophecy,\u201d \u201cSunny Dancer\u201d) will play Jessica Christine \u201cJC\u201d Griffin, described as \u201can alert and ambitious rising star at the casino\u201d and \u201ca vital host and fixer, managing the whims of high rollers while harboring her own big plans for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tYang (\u201cFinally Home,\u201d \u201cInterior Chinatown\u201d) will play Rich Tzu, a sophisticated, Eton-educated executive who serves as a rival to Isaac\u2019s Bobby.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Roman\u201d is an eight-episode, hour-long drama set in present-day Las Vegas, a modernized but still dangerous version of the Strip. At the center of it all is Robert \u201cBobby Red\u201d Redman (Isaac), the president of the hottest hotel casino in town. As his power is threatened, Bobby must make some long odds moves to secure his position and seize more control over Sin City.<\/p>\n

\n\tPreviously announced cast members include Betty Gilpin, Alec Baldwin and David Costabile. \u201cThe Roman\u201d is created by showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien, whose storytelling in Vegas dates back to \u201cRounders\u201d and \u201cOcean\u2019s Thirteen.\u201d The duo also co-created \u201cBillions,\u201d which ran on Showtime from 2016 to 2023.<\/p>\n

\n\tJC Chandor is set to direct the first two episodes of the series. Martin Scorsese executive produces \u201cThe Roman\u201d for Sikelia Productions alongside Julie Yorn and Rick Yorn for Expanded Media, Paul Schiff, Beth Schacter and Isaac. Kerry Orent is a co-executive producer.<\/p>\n
