\n\tFollowing last night\u2019s emotional series finale to \u201cHacks,\u201d Hannah Einbinder is speaking out against Spencer Pratt\u2018s run to be L.A.\u2019s new mayor.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of wealth in this city and I think that there are a lot of people who masquerade as Democrats or people on the left, but really, money is their key issue and that\u2019s what leads them to vote for people like Spencer Pratt \u2014 who is endorsed by Donald Trump,\u201d Einbinder told Variety<\/em>\u2018s Marc Malkin earlier today at the Critics Choice Association\u2019s Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television in Los Angeles. \u201cIt\u2019s important to resist that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPratt, star of MTV\u2019s unscripted hit \u201cThe Hills,\u201d has quickly gained attention in this year\u2019s mayoral race to unseat incumbent Karen Bass. Pratt lost his home in the devastating L.A. wildfires and has gained the support of celebrities and right-leaning politicians.<\/p>\n

\n\tEinbinder says she was \u201cpragmatic\u201d in her thought process, leading her to endorse Nithya Raman over Rae Huang: \u201cIt\u2019s very complicated. No one is perfect, there are no perfect candidates. I\u2019m underwhelmed in a lot of ways but I have made the choice to put Nithya down, and that\u2019s what we\u2019re doing girls!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Malkin said, \u201cI want to see you run for office,\u201d Einbinder quipped back, \u201cYou don\u2019t and neither do I. No! Spencer shouldn\u2019t and neither should I, OK? I\u2019m with Lisa Rinna, I stand with Lisa Rinna.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this week, Rinna spoke with Variety<\/em>about the L.A. mayoral race. Although she claimed she doesn\u2019t know who she is voting for, she clarified, \u201cNot a reality star, though. I love him [Pratt], but we\u2019ve already done that. We\u2019re not going to do that again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEinbinder has been one of the most vocal figures in Hollywood on multiple issues, including for her support of Palestine and her distaste for AI. On the red carpet, she also talked about the importance of the L.A. city council race.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYes, mayor is important, the mayor proposes the budget, but the city council has to vote to pass it. It\u2019s really important to be focused on those races as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
