“Scrambled Up” Season 2 is coming. The syndicated game show has been renewed for its second season starting Sept. 14.
Shooting has started in Atlanta on 160 new episodes, doubling the show’s total episode count. Season 2 will premiere on stations in more than 20 new cities, including Orlando, Cincinnati, Minneapolis and Honolulu. The show is also available on Samsung TV Plus, which recently launched a dedicated 24/7 “Scrambled Up” channel in the U.S. and Canada.
“Scrambled Up” features four contestants who solve jumbled words and phrases as they unscramble. The player who buzzes in with the most correct answers earns a shot at the $10,000 grand prize.
The show airs Monday-Friday, and its format is designed for viewers to play along at home.
“’Scrambled Up’is exactly the kind of smart, joyful, highly playable show that belongs in the daily game-show conversation,” says Michael Eisner, founder of The Tornante Company, one of the show’s producers. “The entire team has built a format that is instantly accessible and genuinely fun, and Michael Yo is an outstanding host whose warmth, timing and energy make viewers want to play along every day.”
