“Mystery Science Theater 3000: The RiffTrax Experiments” has officially set release dates for the four new episodes of the beloved cult classic series.
The first episode, which features the movie “Sting of Death,” will debut online on Oct. 9, followed by the “Deathsport” episode on Oct. 23. After that, the mystery third episode will become available on the RiffTrax Best Friends streaming service starting Oct. 30 before becoming available to the general public on Nov. 6. Finally, the “Space Raiders” episode (which will feature the onscreen returns of Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff) drops on Nov. 20. All episodes will be released ahead of the 2026 Turkey Day marathon, a longstanding “Mystery Science Theater” fan tradition.
As previously reported, all episodes will be available via RiffTrax.com. All Kickstarter backers that supported at any of the reward levels that include a download of an episode will receive a free month of Best Friends, which they can redeem starting on Oct. 16.
The “Sting of Death” episode will also screen in theaters across the country on Sept. 9, with a special encore matinee Sept. 13.

Variety exclusively reported in February that RiffTrax and Shout! Studios teamed to produce four new episodes of “MST3K.” RiffTrax stars and original series alums Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett are all returning both in front of and behind the camera. Mary Jo Pehl is also returning as Pearl Forrester. Filming took place earlier this year in Minneapolis, where the original series was filmed.
Nelson, Corbett, and Murphy have been performing under the RiffTrax banner since 2006. In that time, they have riffed over 1,000 short films, major blockbusters, hilarious low-budget fare, TV shows, and more. They also frequently host RiffTrax live screenings where they live riff a movie in front of an audience.
