It’s Christmas time for the Belchers in the “Bob’s Burgers” Hulu-exclusive holiday short, “On the Fort Day of Christmas.”
Creator and executive producer Loren Bouchard announced the release date for the short at the “Bob’s Burgers” New York Comic-Con panel on Saturday, also teasing a first-look at the holiday special.
Premiering Dec. 7 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S., “On the Fort Day of Christmas” sees the Belcher kids working to build a massive fort during a record-breaking snowstorm.
Bouchard was joined by the show’s stars H. Jon Benjamin (Bob Belcher), John Roberts (Linda Belcher), Kristen Schaal (Louise Belcher), Eugene Mirman (Gene Belcher), Dan Mintz (Tina Belcher) and Larry Murphy (Teddy).
Season 17 of “Bob’s Burgers” will return to Fox in early 2027, and the series has been renewed through Season 19. The holiday short was initially announced at the “Bob’s Burgers” San Diego Comic-Con panel on July 25.
“Bob’s Burgers” is produced by 20th Television Animation. Executive producing alongside Bouchard are Nora Smith, Dan Fybel, Rich Rinaldi, Jon Schroeder, Steven Davis, Scott Jacobson, Holly Schlesinger, Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Janelle Momary-Neely. The series was co-developed by Jim Dauterive.
The series made its big screen debut in 2022 with “The Bob’s Burgers Movie,” where a massive sinkhole appeared right in front of the Belcher family’s restaurant, ruining both the business for Bob and Linda and the kids’ plans for an exciting summer.
